Preventing Your Dog from Being a Mooch

Whether your dog has a perfect record for not begging or is already a beggar, these tips will help avoid the unavoidable begging that occurs around holiday time from indoor dogs.

1. When you are having company over, leave your dog in another room or kennel.

2. If space or your personal preference doesn't permit #1, try placing a bowl of dog snacks on your coffee table and a polite note that suggests that if your guests would like to feed your dog they should use the dog snacks.
