| The mission of the Great Dane Health
Foundation of America, Inc. is to generate significant
resources for funding of medical research of genetic and
other canine diseases to improve the health and quality
of life for our beloved Great Danes and to share
information through educational endeavors. Our
specific purposes shall include but not be limited to the
following:

To support and promote the
study of and research on the particular health
problems as well as the genetics, history,
character and breeding of Great
Danes. |

To further understanding of
the diseases, defects, injuries and other
ailments that afflict dogs in general and Great
Danes in particular. |
 |
To foster and promote the
public's knowledge and appreciation of
dogs in general and Great Danes in
particular. |
 |
To produce, publish and
distribute to the general public, educational
materials about the proper care, treatment,
breeding, health, development and training of
Great Danes. |
